What is on this site

This is the user documentation for Trackapt. It is written for the people who use the app: the operator recording a reading, the supervisor checking one, and the account holder setting the whole thing up. It is not a developer reference.

Every page here has a permanent address, and every heading on it can be linked to directly — hover a heading and click the # to copy its link. That means you can send a colleague a link to the exact paragraph that answers their question rather than to the top of a manual.

If you are not sure where to start

You have just been given a login. Read Signing in, then Finding your way around.
You have been asked to record something. Go straight to Recording a reading or Submitting an entry, depending on whether you were pointed at a tracked item or at a form.
You are setting Trackapt up for your organisation. Start with Tracker groups; it explains the decisions that are hard to reverse later.
You operate one of the modules. Jump to the module list and pick yours.
You do not have an account yet. This site documents the app; what Trackapt is for, what it costs and how to get set up live on the product site at trackapt.co.zw, which also has a contact form for sales.
You already have an account and just want to get on with it. Trackapt itself is at app.trackapt.co.zw.

A note on the words this site uses

Trackapt names things carefully, and the documentation uses those names exactly as they appear on screen. Where a page says Supervise, that is the label in the sidebar; where it says Tracker group, that is the concept. The glossary has the full list if a term is unfamiliar.
